 I know that it has been said before and I will repeat it again because it is true: You must build an opt-in list of email leads. It is effective if you stay in constant contact and if you treat them like they are special (because they are!) they will buy from you and visit your blog and be there by your side through thick and thin because they are also FRIENDS! Building a good opt-in list is the most effective marketing tool you can have when marketing on the Internet. If you intend to make a profit marketing online, you must have a quality list and keep a very close relationship with them. Not only does having one give you a direct line of communication with your target market, but you will have the opportunity to develop a more trustworthy relationship with your subscribers. They are extremely important to your business.

 The key to using an opt-in list effectively is to develop a large subscriber base. If you are having a hard time with increasing your list, this article will reveal some of the best methods used to build an opt-in list. If you're not doing what it takes to build a good list, you're losing new subscribers each week. You just can’t let people come to your sales page and walk away without at least leaving their email address so that you can keep in touch.

Another effective way to drive people to subscribe is to write blog articles that directly touches upon a problem or need that a person is looking for online.  People feel better when they are subscribing to a newsletter that is written by someone who is experienced and knowledgeable. Make sure that your information  is relevant to what folks are needing to know This method will begin to direct visitors to your site and create sales for you. I personally think that blogging brings in the best targeted traffic.

Here are other methods:

1. Submit your personal website to major search engines. The truth is that this isn’t necessary any more. Once Google finds that link in one of the social media sites, it will index you. If you post in any of the top social media forums around the Internet then the search engines will submit your site for you.


2. Use pay per click (PPC) search engines. This is a search engine that allows you to bid o­n certain "keywords" pertaining to your subject. Google Adwords is the most popular. Do not send your PPC traffic to a page that does not have an opt-in form. That would be defeating the purpose of paying for the traffic. Most people do not buy on their first visit but the odds are much better that they will opt in and get your free gift.

3. The thing that you MUST do if you are going to be successful online is to always take every opportunity to develop an opt-in email LIST. Do not subscribe to one of those companies that will sell you thousands of worthless, non interested email addresses. Put an opt-in box everywhere that you can and advertise it to capture email leads that are really interested in what you say and sell. This means that this person has opted in to your list. You now have permission to market to these people over and over again. Each time that you send an email message to your list you could make money. They say that the person with the most responsive targeted list makes the most money!

TAKE ACTION AND SUCCEED WITH YOUR INTERNET BUSINESS

  So you joined one of those Internet business opportunities that you see all over the web. They said that it was easy money with almost no effort. They were even going to build your downline for you. Don’t believe it!  Just like in anything worth having, you must work hard. Real businesses require work. You have to promote your website and products to make money consistently. You just can’t sit there waiting for some miracle to happen. That’s the movies.  Real life doesn’t happen like that! You must take massive action if you want anything in your life to change. Do your research when looking for a REAL internet business opportunity. And when you find it, promote it like crazy!
 

 Doing what is uncomfortable is a large part of doing what it takes to be successful. Maybe your not comfortable selling your product or service face to face to your prospective customers or your not comfortable speaking in public or maybe you don’t like to write the articles and forum posts that could send your website to the top of the search engines. When running an Internet business it takes some elbow grease and sweat to be successful yet it is something that anyone with desire and persistence can do.


 Having WILL power is about doing the things that you DON’T like to do to be successful. Anybody can do something that’s easy to do, you know like something that’s not much of a challenge yet you expect to reap benefits. For example, when I first began Affiliate marketing, I thought I could buy thousands of email leads, put them into an autoresponder and be making thousands of dollars in a matter of months. The absolute easy way to online millions, right? Wrong! 99.9% of those people who did join that opportunity were not really interested in working and are gone today. To be successful in generating business leads, you must tap into "Targeted Traffic".


 When promoting your website you must do whatever you must to drive real targeted traffic to your site. If you don’t take that seriously then you are dead in the water. Don’t get lazy when it comes to targeted traffic. This is the point where marketers start looking for the easy way out. There are a ton of folks that are getting rich selling un-responsive leads, knock-off ebooks and the latest secrets to online millions. They have no problem taking your money and leaving you with worthless information, i call it "hype". You must spend your time tweaking and tracking PPC ads, writing forum posts or better yet, article publishing on your own blog. Remember that the key to it all is “targeted” traffic. Don’t get lazy!


 To be successful in Internet business, you must do the things that have made people successful in the recent past. Too many of us search for shortcuts to success because the road to success is uphill. That’s why so many affiliate businesses fail online. The successful ones call their system "duplication", getting the people on your team to do the things that you did to be successful. You have to really want to succeed to the point of where it commands your complete attention and focus. Research the plan of action taking by others in online marketing that may work for you and DO NOT avoid hard work.
